Swedes prefer a cool moist climate and so must have high rainfall to give a good root yield.

Fodder Beet

Fodder Beet offers a massive yield potential (over 90 tonnes/ha of fresh material) and the high energy roots have an excellent feed quality. These are very palatable for ruminant stock. The tops can be utilised if required to boost the total fodder output even further. Marshall is the variety of choice delivering high yields and high dry matter.
